What's actually built to keep this safe
No vague reassurances — here's exactly what Mechago verifies, checks, and enforces, and what it doesn't (yet).
OTP-verified arrival
Before a mechanic can begin inspecting your bike, you confirm their arrival with a one-time code — a real, working check that the person at your location is the mechanic assigned to your request.
Admin-approved mechanics
Mechanic accounts go through an approval step before they can accept jobs — an administrator reviews and approves (or rejects) each one.
Account restriction
Both customer and mechanic accounts can be restricted by an administrator, which blocks the account from further use of the platform.
Every request is a record
A tracked history, not a phone call
Every request — who was assigned, when they arrived, what was inspected, what was repaired, and what was invoiced — is recorded and viewable in the app, rather than existing only as a conversation.
Emergency contact access
The app includes an SOS feature that lets you call your saved emergency contacts directly from the home screen.
What we do not claim: Mechago does not currently offer insurance coverage, a formal mechanic background-check program, or third-party safety certifications. If and when any of these are introduced, this page will be updated to reflect them — they are not implied by anything above.
